Coming Here Is Like Going Back In Time
I bought this 1970 Mach 1 from Play Toys in 2015. It needed a little TLC as it was only driven about 2000 miles in the 13 years before I bought it. Fortunately most of the original documentation had been handed down from buyer to buyer along with documentation of its restoration in 2002. I think I am the 4th owner. The original complete carburetor had not been on the car in years but was in a box in the trunk . According to the Marti report which I purchased after buying the car, only 4 1970 Mach 1 Mustangs were equipped with the options this car has which include: Medium Bright Blue Metallic paint, Black Matt Hood Stripes, 351 Cleveland 4 Barrel, FMX Automatic Transmission, AC, AM 8 Track, Rear Window Sport Slats, Rear Deck Wing, and Power Front Disc Breaks. It won the Best In Class award at the 2015 Benedict Castle Concourse and a few other local car shows since then. I had the original carburetor restored and I was able to find the correct AM 8 Track so it is now 100% originally equipped. It's a terrific iconic muscle car of the good ole days. It turns a lot of heads and is a lot of fun to drive. For any car guy or gal, going to Play Toys is like going back in time. I told a friend about this place and he bought a car there. If your looking for a classic car or just want to stroll down memory lane, I recommend you take a trip to Play Toys.
Specialists in classic rides.
I bought this 57 about 3yrs ago and the 1st car show I entered it in we won peoples choice. In total I have won three trophys.Scott is truly a lover of vintage vehicles. The transaction was smooth and quite enjoyable. If you need a classic ride this is the place to shop!
A Satisfying Transaction
Our '50 Olds arrived recently at 1 a.m., brought by a driver who was amazingly cheerful and accommodating and careful. Play Toys, which arranged transport, uses one company almost exclusively and it proved to be worth the wait. Throughout the transaction process, I found everyone to be courteous, very helpful and responsive. I would use them again and have already recommended them to my son.
(Can sent a photo taken day car received, if you wish, but have to get it from my son.)
Good company to do business with
You take a step of faith when you buy a car from someone you don't know, from the other side of the country. You are buying a car sight unseen and hope that it arrives as it was presented. I was not disappointed with my experience with Scott and April. Communication was excellent and the car was as described . There was a minor problem with the car which I called Scott about and he told me he would take care of it,and he did. Scott is a man of his word and today that is a rare quality and I appreciate his honesty. I would buy another car from him and would recommend his company to any one looking to buy a classic car.
Enjoy immensely coming down looking & talking cars with Scott
Just bought a motorcycle that I've been looking at for months & each time I was in Scott always took the time to converse, never any pressure until my eighth visit , he said come on let me help you with your pain, we sat down & in 10 minutes a good deal & I'm proud owner of a great looking bike. Can't wait to pick up this Saturday been 24 yrs since I've ridden...
Great place to shop for a car
I drop by just to look at the many great classic, hot rod, and other vehicles every few months. I found two cars over the years that I had to have now. Both have been the best car purchases I ever made. Dont miss out on yours!
Love Our Play Toy
Tom and Nancy,
Don't know if you remember us, we got this 38 Chevrolet Business Coupe from you in October of 2012. Many dollars later and lots of upgrades we are having a blast with the car. This was our first major road trip after the redo on the car. I got to tell you we really love our fun ride. We have got many awards at car shows including one Best of Show. Just thought we would share this with you. We just completed the AZ Rt. 66 Fun Run. Not the Power Tour but none the less it was lots of fun. The old 38 did a great job. We put just under a 1000 miles on the old girl. Never got above 195 in 100 degree weather pulling the grade on I40. Sure was glad we had ice cold A/C. We went on old Rt. 66 going from Seligman via Kingman and up over the mountain into Oatman and on to Golden Shores near Topock. The scenery was spectacular and the two lane mountain roads were fun to drive. There was about every kind vehicle you could think of participating in the event. They had 800 registered vehicles.
Well take care, just thought I would share some pictures with you.
Having Fun with Our Play Toy,
Dennis & Virginia Byard
i like your company
Outstanding Antique Auto Dealer
I purchased this 1950 Ford Convertible over multiple conversations with Tom. Even though I live in Tennessee and did not want to make the trip to California to view this vehicle, Tom assured me that the car lived up to the high quality standards he made about the car. He found a reputable transport company who delivered the car as promised. The car arrived just as planned and I have been thrilled with the results. The car has won a few trophies in our local car shows. Pigeon Forge Tennessee gets its fair share of outstanding vehicles and this shoebox convertible gets its fair share of attention in this town. I recommend Play Toys to any interested auto enthusiast who enjoys an antique car for what it is intended. Complete Enjoyment.
King of the Original Classic Cars
Purchasing a Classic Car is a new experience for me and Play Toys made the process a lot less intimidating. The people at Play Toys provided a wealth of knowledge that was really invaluable to me, from financing options to potential insurers for Classic Cars.
Every detail beginning with photos of what all was in the vehicle to the very moment it arrived at my house was documented and forwarded to me by Tom and Nancy.
Play Toys remained involved, even after the final transaction and the arrival of the vehicle, to ensure my happiness. It has been a few short weeks since I have had my Classic Car, a beautiful 1957 Chevy, and just today I spoke with Tom and he provided me with valuable tips on the care and maintenance of the vehicle.
Both Tom and Nancy have made a friend for life and I would gladly refer friends and family to Play Toys in the future.
Once again, I would like to thank both Tom and Nancy for their valuable friendship and all that they have done, and continue to do, on behalf of Play Toys.
Thank you for helping me find my Mopar!
I found the exact car I was looking for at Play Toys in Redlands. It is a 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite. Tom and Nancy made the process of purchasing my classic simple and hassle free. They are a wealth of knowledge and genuine car folks that really enjoy helping their customers. You can tell why they have been in business for so long. I am so glad I found them and my car and I am grateful for their friendship. If you are looking to buy or sell a classic or antique, there is no better place than Play Toys of Redlands. I give them 5 stars and many thanks!
