I bought this 1970 Mach 1 from Play Toys in 2015. It needed a little TLC as it was only driven about 2000 miles in the 13 years before I bought it. Fortunately most of the original documentation had been handed down from buyer to buyer along with documentation of its restoration in 2002. I think I am the 4th owner. The original complete carburetor had not been on the car in years but was in a box in the trunk . According to the Marti report which I purchased after buying the car, only 4 1970 Mach 1 Mustangs were equipped with the options this car has which include: Medium Bright Blue Metallic paint, Black Matt Hood Stripes, 351 Cleveland 4 Barrel, FMX Automatic Transmission, AC, AM 8 Track, Rear Window Sport Slats, Rear Deck Wing, and Power Front Disc Breaks. It won the Best In Class award at the 2015 Benedict Castle Concourse and a few other local car shows since then. I had the original carburetor restored and I was able to find the correct AM 8 Track so it is now 100% originally equipped. It’s a terrific iconic muscle car of the good ole days. It turns a lot of heads and is a lot of fun to drive. For any car guy or gal, going to Play Toys is like going back in time. I told a friend about this place and he bought a car there. If your looking for a classic car or just want to stroll down memory lane, I recommend you take a trip to Play Toys.
