The story about this creation goes as follows:
The King of Sweden, “Gustav” a good friend of Carroll Shelby and also a car fanatic wanted a special vehicle for himself. Since the King sits on the board of directors of the Heart foundation, the sponsors did build one for him and called it “The Royal Shelby”. Mister Shelby liked the idea so much he wanted to build one for himself (never finished) and 2 for his Heart foundation. A total of 4 Promo cars were built. The last car, #CSR04X, belonged to the Heart foundation and was used on Shelby events, car shows ect. Tons of money and time was spent by the sponsors to create this automobile, which has zero miles after completion.
This Royal Horse is a must for your Mustang & Shelby Collection!
